Terms and Conditions

To secure your date and time a 50% deposit is required. This deposit will be used towards your booking and will be deducted from the total of your services. The remaining 50% will be due a week before your booking. The person responsible for the entire balance of the payment is the person who agreed to the terms and conditions.

Once the deposit has been received, the date and time agreed upon is officially confirmed. No services can be deducted. However, if you wish to add services I will try to accomodate in this regard given I have the availability/time to do so.

Cancelling a booking will result in loss of deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

Please ensure you and your party are punctual. Services may reduced or even cut (resulting in a loss of funds) to be able to finish on time if a client is late. A 40$ late fee will be charged every 30 minutes of delay when a client is late or if the service exceeds the allotted time. To avoid this, please have your entire party present at the start time of your booking.

In the event the artist has a sudden emergency (ex. extreme sickness, accident or any reason out of our control) and is not able to perform the services agreed upon, then a substitute artist will be sent. If for any reason this is not possible then a full refund will be returned to you.

All tools and products are kept clean and sanitized between every makeup application but we cannot be held accountable for any allergic reactions or any complications that may occur during or after makeup application. Any allergies, irritations or sensitivities should be reported to your artist prior to your event to try and prevent issues arising.

If you are considering booking a bridal trial, I recommend booking it 2-3 months before your Wedding Day. Booking a trial does not secure your Wedding date and time, only an accepted deposit does. However, following your trial date, you will be given a 5 day grace period to decide if you would like to move forward with the booking and a soft hold will be placed for your date. Trials are held Monday to Thursday and travel/parking fees apply.

If you are considering a touch up, a minimum booking time of 1 hour is required. Please refer to the price list for touch up fees. The amount of time and what time you need the artist must be discussed prior to the service date. If the client requires a return touch up (the artist leaving and coming back to the location) additional travel fees and parking fees will apply.

Please provide a table and/or work area, a chair (if possible, a bar stool or tall chair) and power supply available for use for your Makeup Artist.

All photographs that the client allows the artist to take can be used for promotional use such as social media, portfolio and website. You can however, request that no photos be taken or used.

Travel fees vary by location, please inquire for a quote to your destination. If the location of services changes after the agreed upon travel fee, the artist reserves the right to adjust the travel fee. Any parking fees are to be paid by the client.

JZ BEAUTY has a zero tolerance policy towards violence, aggression or unacceptable language or behaviour and will result in immediate cancellation of services and will not be entitled to a refund.
